Bakrid 2020 | Bakrid Wishes & Eid al Adha Greetings

Bakrid or Bakra Eid or Eid al-Adha 2020 in India will begin in the evening of Thursday, 30 July 2020 and ends in the evening of Friday, 31 July 2020 this year. Muslim families all over the world will celebrate it by sacrificing a male goat and will feast on goat’s meat and offer it to the under-privileged. Devotees will offer prayers at the mosque and greet their family members. The festival honours the readiness of Ibrahim to sacrifice him son in order to prove his obedience to the almighty. However, after seeing his devotion Allah asked him to sacrifice an animal instead of his son. The muslim families across the world will pray for goodness, prosperity and will wear new clothes to celebrate Bakrid festival. The sacrificing of the goat is divided into three parts; one part is given to friends, extended family and neighbours.
